This segment also distributes a range of single use gloves used in industrial applications, including chemical, food services, life sciences, electronics, and automotive after market. Acquisitions In 2017, the company acquired the gammaSupplies business from gammaSupplies LLC. The business is a provider of isolator and gauntlet gloves and prep mats for life science customers for use in clean room production environments. The acquisition would provide an opportunity for the company to be a full solution provider to various customers in the validated sterile needs segments. Discontinued Operations In September 2017, the company reported the closing of the sale of its Sexual Wellness business, followed by the company’s Brazillian condom business, Fabrica de Artefatos de Latex Blowtex Ltda in October 2017.
