Tordillo is in the early exploration stage. Limestone Deposits The company holds interest in two limestone deposits. Lime is used by the Chilean mining industry in processing sulfide copper ores and in heap leaching of gold ores. The company’s limestone deposits at Catedral and Cal Norte contain high grade limestone, which when calcined, can produce lime. History The company was founded in 1990. It was formerly known as South American Gold and Copper Company Limited and changed its name to Cerro Grande Mining Corporation in 2011.
