Altri, S.G.P.S., S.A. produces bleached eucalyptus pulp in Europe. The company also has operations in electric energy from forest renewable sources, such as industrial cogeneration and biomass. It operates approximately 80 thousand hectares of forests in Portugal. The company’s major assets are three pulp production mills, with a capacity of approximately 500 thousand tonnes/year of bleached eucalyptus pulp. Celulose do Caima The company, through Celulose do Caima, S.G.P.S., S.A., holds participations in: Caima – Indústria de Celulose (Constância), a producer and distributor of paper pulp; Celbi – Celulose da Beira Industrial, S.A. (Figueira da Foz), a producer and distributor of paper pulp; Celtejo – Empresa de Celulose do Tejo, S.A. (Vila Velha de Ródão), a producer and distributor of paper pulp; Silvicaima – Sociedade Silvícola do Caima, S.A. (Constância), an owner and manager of the company’s forestry resources; and Caima Energia – Empresa de Gestao e Exploração de Energia, S.A. (Constância), which provides its associated companies with its electric and thermal energy needs. History Altri, S.G.P.S., S.A. was incorporated in 2005.
