Aygaz A.S., together with its subsidiaries, engages in the purchase of liquid petroleum gas (LPG) in bulk from domestic refineries and the international market and delivery to retailers for distribution to customers. The company manufactures LPG cylinders, LPG tanks, regulators and other supplementary materials, which support the company’s main business and which are necessary equipment for the end-user. The company is controlled by Koç Holding A.S. the parent company, Koç Family and the companies owned by Koç Family. The company manufactures its products, such as cylinders, valves, regulators, bulk gas, and autogas tanks, at the Gebze plant operating on 52 thousand square meters of open area and 25 thousand square meters of indoor space. Subsidiaries and Affiliates Aygaz Dogal Gaz Toptan Satis A.S. and Aygaz Dogal Gaz Iletim A.S. deliver the natural gas procured domestically to its customers through a pipeline. The company also transports and sells liquefied natural gas by purpose-built vehicles to businesses without access to the pipeline. Carrying out LPG marine transportation, the company transferred the management of its ships to a subsidiary, Anadoluhisari Tankercilik A.S. in 2010. The company has at its disposal three specifically equipped, full pressure ships. Akpa Dayanikli Tüketim LPG ve Akaryakit Ürünleri Pazarlama A.S., a wholly owned subsidiary of the company, carries out direct cylinder gas and carboy water sales, as well as fuel trade. ADG Enerji Yatirimlari A.S. operates in the field of natural gas production and trade in Turkey and internationally. The company’s operations include storing natural gas in any form underground, above ground or on the sea, transporting and distributing, as well as changing the state of natural gas. The company also invests in plants, storage yards, pipelines, marine vessels and land vehicles to carry out such activities. Entek Elektrik Üretimi A.S. (Entek), the electricity production company, operates natural gas and hydroelectric power plants. With six 87-MW hydroelectric power plants located in Karaman, Samsun and Mersin; and a natural gas cycle plant of 157 MW in Kocaeli, Entek operates with total 244 MW of installed capacity. Menzelet Kilavuzlu Elektrik Üretimi A.S., wholly owned by Entek, would start operating the plants in 2018. Opet Aygaz Gayrimenkul A.S. was founded in 2013 as an equal partnership between the company and Opet Petrolcülük A.S. to invest in properties that could be operated as fuel or autogas stations at various locations across Turkey. The company operates or leases these properties and owned 21 stations as of December 31, 2017. Enerji Yatirimlari A.S. (EYAS) acquires 51% of the shares of Türkiye Petrol Rafinerileri A.S. (Tüpras), Turkey’s major industrial corporation. The company holds a 20% stake in Enerji Yatirimlari A.S. As the producer in the refinery industry in Turkey, Tüpras operates in the fields of refining, distribution, oil and petroleum products and marine transport. Tüpras has an annual crude oil processing capacity of 28.1 million tons.
