Segments Plantation segment Plantation segment engages in the oil palm and rubber cultivation, and palm oil refining and fractionation activities. This segment’s planted area in Malaysia totaled 326,750 hectares. Its total oil palm planted area includes 530,987 hectares; and total rubber planted area includes 8,649 hectares located in Malaysia and Indonesia. Property segment Property segment engages in the property development, management and investment, and provision of golf and other recreational services. The segment has international activities in property related businesses in six other countries, namely Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam, China, Australia, and the United Kingdom. The Property segment is involved in the development of townships in Malaysia, such as Subang Jaya and UEP Subang Jaya (USJ), Putra Heights, Bukit Jelutong, Bandar Bukit Raja, Ara Damansara, Denai Alam, Melawati, Nilai Impian, Pinggiran USJ, Saujana Impian, and Bukit Subang. Its other on-going development projects are Planters’ Haven, USJ Heights, Subang Avenue, and Oasis Ara Damansara. Industrial segment Industrial segment engages in the sales, rental, and servicing of heavy equipment. Energy and Utilities segment These segment activities include engineering design and fabrication, system integration, power generation, treatment and supply of treated water, and ownership and management of port facilities. Healthcare and Others segment This segment primary activity includes provision of healthcare services, aircraft composites components manufacturing, bedding operations, and insurance broking.
