The company engages in the construction of oil and gas processing plants, refineries, offshore facilities, power & energy, industrial plants, environmental system and SOC. The company covers every phase of the project cycle, including project development, feasibility studies, consulting, basic and detailed engineering, procurement, construction, construction supervision and operation & maintenance. Building works Building: The company’s projects include office complexes, commercial complexes, educational facilities and cultural centers, and stadium projects. Housing: The Division focuses on the construction of private buildings such as apartments, and residential and commercial complexes. Overseas: The company also has operations in the Middle East, Asia, and Africa. It specializes in various such as hotels, airports, commercial complexes, exhibition and convention centers, and mega-residential projects. Civil Works The Division focuses on the construction of roads, ports, railroads, plants, and environmental plants. It also engages in dredging & reclamation works. Plant & Power The Division of Plant & Power mainly focuses on engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning (EPCC) of gas, oil and petrochemical plants, power generation and desalination plants, and environmental facilities. It also provides services, such as feasibility studies, operation and maintenance. Hydrocarbon Processing Plants: Hydrogen Processing is involved in Gas Processing Plant & Gas Field Development, Oil Refineries & Oil Field Development, Petrochemical Plants, Fertilizer & Chemical Plants, Oil & Gas Pipelines, Terminals & Storage Tanks, and LNG Liquefaction Plants. Power & Desalination Plants: The Division constructed 83 Power & Desalination plants at home and abroad with a total power capacity of 45,186MW. Its businesses includes thermal power, combinedcycle power, co-generation power, hydropower, and desalination plants. Nuclear Power Plants: The company constructs nuclear power plants in Korea, having built 12 of 19 plants. It also proved technological prowess in the world nuclear power plant market with participation in the Shinkori Nuclear Power Plant Project Units 1 & 2 as a representative contractor. Environment Plants: The Division also constructs sewage treatment systems, incineration facilities, and desulphurization facilities. Substations, Transmission Lines, and other Electric Works: The company is a general contractor in substations, transmission lines, and other electric works in Korea, the Middle East and East Asia. Other Plant Facilities: The company involvs in heat supply facilities, draining gate facilities, and other plant facilities in and out of Korea. Strategic Alliances A consortium of 10 South Korean builders announced it has proposed to the government a KRW 12 trillion project to build four underground commuter express train lines linking the wider Seoul metropolitan area with the central part of the capital.
