Power & Desalination Plants: The Division constructed 83 Power & Desalination plants at home and abroad with a total power capacity of 45,186MW. Its businesses includes thermal power, combinedcycle power, co-generation power, hydropower, and desalination plants. Nuclear Power Plants: The company constructs nuclear power plants in Korea, having built 12 of 19 plants. It also proved technological prowess in the world nuclear power plant market with participation in the Shinkori Nuclear Power Plant Project Units 1 & 2 as a representative contractor. Environment Plants: The Division also constructs sewage treatment systems, incineration facilities, and desulphurization facilities. Substations, Transmission Lines, and other Electric Works: The company is a general contractor in substations, transmission lines, and other electric works in Korea, the Middle East and East Asia. Strategic Alliances A consortium of 10 South Korean builders announced it has proposed to the government a KRW 12 trillion project to build four underground commuter express train lines linking the wider Seoul metropolitan area with the central part of the capital.
