Hyundai Motor Company engages in the manufacture and distribution of motor vehicles and parts worldwide. The company owns and operates three principal automobile production bases in Korea: the Ulsan factory, the Asan factory and the Jeonju factory. Significant Events On October 26, 2009, Korea Electric Power Corp. announced that it has signed a preliminary deal with Hyundai Motor Group to jointly develop electric vehicles and battery chargers. In December 2009, Hyundai Motor Co. announced that LOI signing with Baotou Bei Ben Heavy-Duty Truck Co. Ltd. for establishment of commercial vehicle joint venture in China. On June 23,2021 Urban Air Mobility Division of Hyundai Motor Group announced a partnership with ANRA Technologies to begin developing the operating environment for the advanced air mobility (AAM) industry.
