The company accepts deposits, issues loans, makes money transfers and documentary settlements, exchanges currencies for its clients, issues and processes debit and credit cards, is engaged in trade finance and is investing and trading in securities, as well as performs other activities set forth in the law on banks of the Republic of Lithuania and the charter of the bank. Subsidiary companies of the company perform consumer financing, life insurance and real estate management activities. Segments The company operates through four segments: Traditional Banking Operations and Lending; Treasury; Non-Core Banking Activities; and Other Activities. Traditional Banking Operations and Lending - includes traditional retail and corporate banking operations, such as issuing loans and providing banking services to the customers and finance, lease and consumer financing services provided to customers of the company. Treasury - includes banking treasury operations, such as managing securities and liquidity portfolio, currency exchange etc. Non-Core Banking Activities - includes other banking operations not included in traditional lending and treasury segments, such as lending to subsidiaries (except for lending to leasing and consumer financing subsidiaries), revenues/expenses related to investment in subsidiaries (dividends, impairment of investment in subsidiaries), engagement in one-off projects, managing problem loans.
