Handeni Gold Inc., an exploration stage company, engages in the acquisition and exploration of mineral properties. The company owns four prospecting licenses totaling approximately 800 square kilometers located in the Handeni district of Tanzania. History The company was founded in 2004. It was incorporated in the state of Nevada in 2004. The company was formerly known as Douglas Lake Minerals Inc. and changed its name to Handeni Gold Inc. in 2012.
