Chlortetracycline Pucheng Chia Tai Biochemistry Co., Ltd. (Pucheng Chia Tai), the company’s subsidiary, principally engages in the production and sales of feed-grade Chlortetracycline (FG CTC) and Hydrochloride Chlortetracycline (HCL CTC). It owns two production lines which have annual production capacities of 16,000 tons for FG CTC and 1,500 tons for HCL CTC. Chlortetracycline serves as a type of antibiotic which is used against various types of bacteria. CTC is suitable for poultry, swine, sheep, and cattle. Pucheng Chia Tai markets its CTC products under the brand name ‘Shihao’ to countries like Europe, America, and southeast Asia. Industrial activities The company, through the jointly-controlled entities, engages in the manufacturing and sales of motorcycles, serves as the dealership for Caterpillar machinery, and also produces and sells carburetors and automobile accessories. Motorcycle activities Luoyang Northern Ek Chor Motorcycle Company Limited (Northern Ek Chor), a subsidiary company, manufactures motorcycles; and produces and sells cubs and scooters, as well as engines under the brand name of ‘Dayang’. These engines are mainly used in the production of tricycles. Caterpillar Machinery Dealership ECI Metro Investment Co., Ltd. provides sales, leasing and repair services for Caterpillar in its construction and mining equipment in the western region of China. Automobile Accessories Zhanjiang Deni Carburetor Co., Ltd. (Zhanjiang Deni) mainly engages in the production and sales of motorcycle carburetors and automobile accessories. History C.P.
