PTT Exploration and Production Public Company Limited, together with its subsidiaries, engages in the exploration and production of petroleum in Thailand and internationally. The company is a subsidiary of PTT Public Company Limited. As of December 31, 2016, the company had operations relating to the exploration and production of petroleum in 10 countries. Segments The company operates through Exploration and Production, and Overseas Pipelines segments. Exploration and Production This segment operates in oil and gas exploration and production both domestically and overseas, either as an operator or as a joint venture partner with international oil and gas companies. Majority domestic projects are located in the Gulf of Thailand. Overseas projects are located in Southeast Asia, Australia, America and Africa. As at the statement of financial position date, the Group had 23 projects in the production phase and 14 projects in the development and exploration phases. Overseas Pipelines This segment has investments with its joint venture partners to operate pipelines to transport natural gas from the exploration and production projects where the company has working interests, such as the Yadana, Yetagun, and Zawtika projects. Other Operations The company’s other operations consist mainly of investments in projects connected to the energy business and other operations. Significant Events In July 2020, the company would like to announce that AI and Robotics Ventures Company Limited (ARV) (a subsidiary of the company) and Thai Advance Innovation Company Limited (a subsidiary of Thaicom Public Company Limited) had set up the new joint venture company under the name of ATI Technologies Co., Ltd. to develop unmanned aerial vehicle or drone solutions, both product and services, and develop smart farming technologies, including data analytics platform and farm management solution, to improve the potential of the agricultural sector in Thailand.
