Significant Events On September 1, 2009, Absolut Chemicals Inc. has partnered up with Mitsubishi Corp. for a Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) project at Absoluts plant in Lian, Batangas. The CDM plant complements Absoluts existing biological waste and water treatment facilities. On October 15, 2009, Samyang Corp. has agreed to establish a joint venture (JV) with Mitsubishi Corporation for the production of bisphenol-A, a key raw material of engineering plastic polycarbonate.
