Kansansh The Kansanshi copper-gold mine is located in the North Western Province of Zambia. In 2008, Kansanshi produced 99,926 tonnes of copper. It owns 80% interest in this property. Kolwezi The company has 65% interest in this property. The Kolwezi project is located to the north of Kolwezi, a city located in the south of Katanga province. Guelb Moghrein The Guelb Moghrein deposit is located 250 kilometres northeast of the nation’s capital, Nouakchott, near the town of Akjoujt. The company has 80% interest in this property. Frontier The Frontier mine is located near the town of Sakania in the DRC. The company has 95% interest in this property. The mine consists of the open pit mining and processing of primary sulphide ore. Mopani The plant is located at the Mufulira copper smelter in Zambia's copper belt, close to the border to Congo. In addition to the engineering design of the ISASMELT plant and supply of key equipment, such as the waste heat boiler, XT designed and supplied a plant wide process control system for the project based on a Yokogawa CS3000 platform. Kevitsa In June 2008, the company acquired Scandinavian Minerals Limited (SML), an international mining company, which owns the 100% owned Kevitsa nickel-copper-PGE project in northern Finland.
