Segments The company operates through three segments: Gathering and Processing, Liquids Infrastructure, and Marketing. Gathering and Processing This segment owns and operates raw gas gathering pipelines and processing plants, which collect and process raw natural gas, remove waste products, and separate the economic components primarily natural gas liquids (NGLs) located in the natural gas production areas primarily on the western side of the Western Canada Sedimentary Basin. The company also provides condensate handling services through its condensate gathering pipelines and stabilization facilities. As of December 31, 2020, the company had ownership interests in 14 active gas plants located in Alberta. Liquids Infrastructure This segment provides processing, fractionation, storage, transportation, NGL blending, and terminalling services for NGLs and crude oil. These services are provided to customers through a network of facilities that include NGL and crude oil pipelines, underground NGL storage caverns, above ground storage tanks, NGL fractionation and de-ethanization facilities, NGL blending facilities, and the Alberta EnviroFuels facility, as well as pipeline, rail and truck terminals. Marketing This segment markets a range of products associated with its two infrastructure business lines, primarily propane, butane, condensate and iso-octane. It also engages in NGL blending activities. History The company was formerly known as Keyera Facilities Income Fund and changed its name to Keyera Corp. in 2011.
