The main projects are Boulanger and Dorlin in French Guiana, Oko West in Guyana, and NW Extension in Suriname. In 2019, the company entered into a strategic alliance agreement with Barrick Gold Corporation (Barrick) to form a 50:50 alliance to jointly explore for, develop and mine certain mineral projects in the Guiana Shield. The NW Extension project is part of a strategic alliance with Barrick. The company initially contributed to the Alliance, the Waiamu, Arawini, Oko West, Kartuni and Aremu North projects, all located in Guyana. In 2020, the company entered into an agreement under which a Surinamese private company granted to the company an option to acquire the NW Extension gold project, located in Suriname. History The company was formerly known as New Sleeper Gold Corporation and changed its name to Reunion Gold Corporation in 2006.
