The company has a purchase and sale agreement with Investcan Energy Corporation (Investcan), for a 50% working interest in the company’s petroleum permits onshore Bay St. George, Western Newfoundland. Parsons Pond The company has an agreement to acquire an additional 8% working interest in each of its exploration permits. Labrador Offshore The company has the right to explore for petroleum. Parcel #2 covers 236,525 hectares (584,000 acres) of the Hopedale Basin on the Labrador continental shelf. Western Newfoundland Offshore The company, through its subsidiary, NWest Energy Inc. (NWest), engages in the exploration of offshore western Newfoundland. Its offshore land package covers 650,000 hectares. Mineral Properties TL Nickel-Copper-PGM: The TL Nickel-Copper-Platinum group element property in Labrador is situated approximately 80 kilometers northwest of the Voisey’s Bay nickel-copper-cobalt mine. The company has optioned the property to Nortec Venture Corp. Kingurutik Property: The Kingurutik River property covers 234 claims (approximately 15,000 acres) of Nain Plutonic rocks approximately 90 kilometers northwest of the Voisey Bay nickel, copper cobalt mine. Flat Bay Potash/Salt The company owns the mineral rights (in addition to petroleum rights) over a portion of the northern Bay St. George Basin (approximately 100,000 acres).
