Commercial Banking PaninBank Commercial Banking comprises three business segments, namely Small Medium Business ('SMB'), Commercial Business, and Micro Business. Through this business segment, PaninBank is committed to meeting the needs of corporate customers, especially those with business characteristics in industries that have strong resilience from the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2022, Corporate Banking concentrated on sectors relatively unaffected by the pandemic, such as the Manufacturing Industry Sector and Green Financing. Institutional and SOE Banking PaninBank's Institutional and SOE's Banking segment (PIB) divides its debtors into two categories, i.e. corporations (non-SOE) and SOE Groups. Remittance Remittance services provide overseas fund transfer activities in 11 currencies, namely USD, EUR, GBP, CNY, SGD, HKD, CAD, CHF, JPY, AUD and NZD. Trade Finance Through the provision of trade finance products, PaninBank has strengthened its competitive edge in the trade sector. For customers engaged in export-import and local trade, PaninBank offers Letter of Credit (LC) and Domestic Letter of Credit (SKBDN), including its amendment, LC and SKBDN advising, LC negotiation/refinancing (sight/usance/UPAS), and export bills discount/SKBDN. Beyond these facilities, PaninBank can also act as Confirming Bank for LCs issued by new foreign exchange banks and issue standby LCs. The performance of trade finance services is in line with the bank's risk appetite. To expand its customer base, International Banking continues to build synergies with the driving business segments, namely the retail banking and commercial banking business segments through cross selling mechanisms, including cooperation with branch offices to market International Banking products.
