The Hub Power Company Limited engages in the ownership, operation, and maintenance of power plants in Pakistan. The company owns and operates an oil-fired power plant with a net capacity of 1,200 MW located in the Hub river estuary in Baluchistan. It also carries out the business of power generation and sale at other places in Pakistan. Lariab Energy Limited The company, in August 2008, acquired 75.5% interest in Laraib Energy Limited that is developing the 84 MW hydropower generating complex near the New Bong Escape, which is 8km downstream of the Mangla Dam in Azad Jammu & Kashmir. History The Hub Power Company Limited was founded in 1991.
