Segments The company’s activities are focused on four business groups: FMCG, Hotels, Paperboards, Paper & Packaging and Agri Business. FMCG segment This segment includes manufacture of cigarettes & smoking mixtures; and other branded packaged foods, such as staples, biscuits, confectionery, snack foods and ready to eat foods, garments, educational and other stationery products, matches, agarbattis, and personal care products. Hotels segment This segment engages in hoteliering business. The company’s joint ventures include Srinivasa Resorts Limited, Fortune Park Hotels Limited, Bay Islands Hotels Limited, and Maharaja Heritage Resorts Limited. The company has approximately 100 hotels across 80 locations in India, operating under 4 brands. These are ITC Hotel, WelcomHotel, Fortune, and WelcomHeritage. In addition, the business has co-branding arrangement with two international brands ‘The Luxury Collection’ and ‘Sheraton’, franchised from Starwood. Paperboards, Paper & Packaging segment This segment manufactures paperboards, and paper including specialty paper and packaging, including flexibles. The Paperboards segment has a capacity of 1.32 million TPA. Agri Business This segment offers agri commodities, such as rice, soya, coffee, and leaf tobacco. The Agri Business markets agri commodities in the export and domestic markets; supplies agri raw materials to the Branded Packaged Foods Business, and sources leaf tobacco for the Cigarettes Business.
